I have a new projection alarm clock. I set it to my ceiling near my fan and it gave a cool ghosted double image. Taken at nearly 1AM when I couldn't sleep last night.

deliberately no attempt to better align the various layers .. the miss-alignments just add to the creepy factor
3 x HDR's with multiple dodge and burn and adjustment layers ... almost a 1 GB photoshop file on disk (with compression... almost 2 GB opened in photoshop and lightroom)... talk about a machine killer!

I could've done with this study last year when I was at the height of my insomnia issues! Haven't had any problems since then though, I followed a cognitive therapy program that really worked for me - a self-help thing that I'd researched online, involving keeping a daily sleep diary which would be e-mailed weekly to someone for evaluation and suggestions.
The trouble I'm having this week though is just not getting to bed early enough! Last night my 8:30pm attempt was stone-walled by a distraction! I never made it there until 11:30pm.

When not able to sleep at night; some read books, some watch tv, even some eat. I take pictures. On one such late night photo-shoot, i choose my cousin's Tansen to be featured. Show some love to the ever so lovely and blue tansen ppl. Thank you for listening.

I liked the word insomnia better than just jet lag. and this doesn't have anything to do with loving someone, sorry. I needed insomnia lyrics! eep
but really. listen to that song. it's amazing (and a good song for not being able to sleep).
I took this at like 5 in the morning because I was awake and decided not to fight the jet lag. uggghhhh.
the sun was just rising but it doesn't hit my window so this is just ambient dawn light stuff. 4 second exposure... I'm surprised I could stay still long enough. I usually twitch... even in my first 365 photo there's motion blur and the exposure wasn't that long. oh and I finally found my remote :D
the tripod was downstairs and I didn't want to wake up my family banging along, so I used a book and my lens cap to balance my camera. ha.
but this is one of the things I came up with! trying some new edits and TEXT woo. I've seen some photos lately with this simple typewriter text and I love it... hence this. I wish there was more grain/noise/whatever you want to call it in this photo...
